Michigan Ophthalmology Specialists is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Shelby, MI

Description

William Goldstein Laser Eye Care Center is looking for a dependable, highly motivated Part Time Ophthalmic Technician with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team.

Part time schedule would be Monday, Tuesday and Friday full days approximately 20-24 hours per week. 

The role of the Ophthalmic Technician is to work collaboratively with the clinic physicians to perform basic, advanced and complex manual and automated medical tests to allow for proper medical diagnosis.

Requirements

All areas of ophthalmic patient care, including but not limited to patient work-ups, refraction, performing ancillary testing such as OCT, Visual Field and IOL measurement.

This position requires excellent computer skills and to communicate efficiently with patients, physicians and other staff members.
